House Of Fraser - Beauty Blogger Competition

I was contacted by House of Fraser and was asked to do a make up look post of a party look. I jumped straight to this. There is a great gift for the winner of this competition. I've done a look that's smokey purple eyes. With a berry/pink lip. During Christmas times I love wearing reds and purples.

First I started with POREfessional pour minimizing primer. You can find it here. This will ensure that you have a flawless face.

I then went in with one of my favourite foundations. MAC Studio Fix Foundation in NC25. This foundation is ideal for nights out as it give you full coverage. You can find it here

Then I groomed my eye brows using Benefit Brow Zing here. This is important as it frames the face.

I lined my eyes with Bobbi Brown gel eye liner here. Giving it a winged look. Elongation the eyes and making them look bigger.

I then contoured my cheek bones using this Nars bronzer. In shade Casino.

The I used this MAC blusher. In shade Easy Manner which is a pretty pink shade. That will give you a natural pinky look.

I used this Nars duo palette in shade Douce France. Its a beautiful palette of pinks and purples. To give you a lovely smokey eye look.

I then finished the look of using this Clinique Chubby Stick in shade Broadest Berry. Lip stains is something you would want to wear on a night out as they wont fade, or budge.

Boohoo Blogger Competition #partypose

Last week I was contacted by Boohoo.com and was asked to take part in the blogger competition. As you all may know I love stuff like this I love putting together outfits and showing all you guys. This competition is called #partypose, so I thought I would come up with a Christmas party outfit. If I win I will be giving away a £250 boohoo voucher.

This is an outfit that I would defiantly wear. I love wearing a simple black outfit and picking killer heels and lipstick to be the statement piece. As some of you might be getting invited to Christmas party's or maybe a Christmas party for work? Then this can be a fun outfit for you. It will defiantly be turning some heads.

First I picked this black bandeau studded dress. I like the way the top is fitted then the bottom half comes out. I will sure be comfortable. Also enhancing your waist. I thought seen as its a black plain dress we need a statement piece. What better then red heels. These heels are super high and will make your legs look longer and thinner. I love wearing red during the Christmas period. To go with the red theme I also added in this crochet detailed bag. Crochet is in at the moment so why not take it to your Christmas party. Its a good size to fit in all the things you might need on that night, a camera, a few make up bits to touch up. I also finished the look of Kate Moss Lipstick in shade 22 you can find it here. This lipstick will go great with a grey/black smokey eye. Also adding Red nails will put the whole outfit together. You can also find Barry M Gelly Nail Polish here

Thanks for reading dolls I hope this post has given you an idea of what you can wear for your Christmas Party x

Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick

Superdrug  £5.49

I've been looking for this specific shade since they come out, and couldn't find it in any Boots or Superdrug. I was after this specific shade because I think its just a gorgeous shade. This vampy red, wine, oxblood what ever you want to call it :), Its quite in at this time of year. I've got many clothing items this colour. I wasn't sure if this would suit my face but there was only one way to find out. My friend politely saw it in a Superdrug and picked it up for me.

The colour is amazing as well as the texture of the lipstick. Its a velvety matte finish, however its really moisturising even thou its matte. It doesn't feel dry on the lips. It lasts all day. The red packaging is the Matte finish ones and the Black packaging is just normal glossy lipstick. I don't have a matte finish lipstick so I was quite interested in trying this one.

Some people are scared like my self and don't know if they can pull of such a harsh shade. However you just need to try it. Also trying different make up looks will help knowing if you like the shade of the lisptick. This will be pretty with nude eyes, or even harsh black winged liner. Depends on what you like and what suits you.

Whats your favourite shade from this collection?

Primark Haul - With An Autumn Feel

These are a few things I've picked up recently and have wanted to show guys. Everyone's wardrobes are changing from summer to autumn. I can have a love hate relationship with Primark sometimes I will find so many things I love and sometimes I find nothing.

I bought two jumpers for £8 each, first is this black and burgundy one which is my favourite and next is this navy and white stripe one. I love the fit of these and they are so comfortable.

I thought I would give my bed a little change so I bought myself this duvet for £8 and this cover set for £8 I also really liked this LOVE cushion so I picked that up too for £5. I love how its floral print almost like Cath Kitson witch I really like.

Socks, we all need thick socks when it comes to this time of year. So I bought normal socks for day to day wear. Then I bought super cosy socks, they are really really soft and cosy very good for £1.50, I also bought slipper socks, which I wear to uni I've always got cold feet and these cute Mickey Mouse ones were £2.

I was in the men's department and noticed this lovely burgundy coloured snood, I knew it would be mine. I prefer snoods to scarfs anyway. Also this colour is so in at the moment. That was £3. Then from the women's section I got the bobble hat for £2 and these really cute gloves for £2 also.

Candles, I love candles at this time of year especially. I love feeling cosy and warm while there's a beautiful scented candle burning. This firewood fig one was £3.50, it smells so clean and fresh and so festive. It has three wicks so the candle burns evenly. I love the Christmasy print on it with the white white snow flakes.

accessory hanger, is something I've wanted for a long time. As I've got loads of necklaces hanging around. Now they can be abit more organised. This was from the home section for £2. I never use to look in the home section but they have some great stuff there.

Nivea Daily Essentials - Rich Moisturising Day Cream

Nivea Rich Moisturising Day Cream - Tesco £1.99

When I got back from holiday I noticed that my skin needed some moisture put in it. I didn't know what cream I should buy as nothing really spoke out to me. Then I saw this new Nivea rich moisturising day cream. This cream has got spf 15 in it. Its got Almond oil extracts which helps give your skin the beautiful moisture it needs. I use this every day in he morning. I dot it around my face then massage it in. After a few hours my face feels so soft and smooth. This is by far the best face cream I've tried, that works for me. I wouldn't say it holy grail but it is pretty good.
I've always been a fan of Nivea and the good creams they have our there, for the body, face and hands. I bought it in dry and sensitive skin. I don't have dry skin anymore as my t zone gets oily throughout the day. But I tackle that with some pressed powder. I might but the same cream again but the one for oily skin. I have quite sensitive skin, I don't like changing and mixing what I usually use. I also don't use anything on my face that's heavily scented, as I feel it irritates my face and breaks my skin out badly. This is the 50 ml bottle I don't think there's a bigger one. But this is a good size as it fits perfectly into my make up bag.

Juicy Couture - Viva La Juicy

Juicy Couture - Viva La Juicy

I got this a few months ago for my birthday. I've wanted it for ages so when I unwrapped my present, and I saw it was this I was soo happy and shocked. I absolutely love the bottle of this perfume its a massive chunky glass bottle. I think its so cute and with the whole bow. Also the gold J chain adds to the cuteness I personally think. I love the bottle so much, as much as I love the box. Which is weird I never like the box's of perfumes. Its always the bottle that's a stunner. I love the contrast with the pink and gold theme.
However the scent is what made me really like this perfume and made me want it. Its got a unique scent. I find it so hard to describe smells. I would say its a mixture between jasmine and vanilla. Hints of berries come through with a hint of mandarin. It is a sweet smell. Which I'm always drawn to. Even thou its a sweet scent, its still a perfect perfume to take you into the autumn months like we are in now. Its always my go to perfume.
I don't know how much this costs as it was a present from my sister, but you can find it here.

Have you smelt this? what do you think of it?

Real Technique core collection

Just thought I'd do a quick review on the Real Technique Brushes. You've probably seen many reviews. But I wanted to give you my thoughts and feelings on them. This is the core collection, in this there is a buffing brush, foundation brush, contour brush, and a detailer brush. The brushes are synthetic. They come in this stand pack, where you can stand it up on your desk. All the bottoms of the brushes are flat so they to stand. This was £21.99 from Boots only. The buffing brush is my favourite. As if evens out the foundation amazingly and gives you a beautiful flawless finish.

I would recommend these to anyone that's starting to use make up. These are cheap compared to the MAC brushes. However I think there equally as good. All in all I love these brushes. I want to buy all the real technique brushes.
*Didn't mean to bore you with this review, I know theres so many out there. But had to be done by me too. Thanks guys. Let me know what you think of these brushes.

I went to see Ghost the Musical

My sister bought her self and me tickets for my birthday to go eat then to go to the theatre to go watch Ghost musical. Before we went to the restaurant we went to Ripley's. So I thought i'd share a few picture with you. I've alse shared a picture of what I wore. I got this top for my Birthday its from Next. I paired it with this black jeggings and black chelsea boots, and my studded clutch from select.
We went to a Indian restaurant called Imli. The food was delicious. I would love to go again, and the prices were reasonable. Then we went to the theatre,  As you may know I study performing arts so I knew this would be up my street anyway. I've also seen the film so I couldn't wait to watch the musical. We had really good seats. I loved every single moment of it. It was incredible I would defiantly watch it again. Its so ascetically pleasing. So magical and amazing. I recommend you go see it seriously. There wasn't one person in there that didn't shed a tear to be honest. I come out crying my eyes out. The way they do the scene changes was just mind blowing.
Have you seen it yet? Will you go to watch it?
Thank you
xx

Real Technique Stippling Brush Review

Real Technique stippling brush via Boots

Every one in the blog world has been talking about these Real Technique brushes. I mean everyone, but I thought my readers might want to know what I think about it. I've got the Stippling brush. Real Techniques brushes were designed by Samantha Chapman, one of the two sisters who run Pixiwoo channel on YouTube. I don't have all the brushes but I really really want the buffing brush. It is a very soft and gentle brush as they are synthetic brushes. I use this Stippling brush to apply my liquid foundation. Its great for that it blends the foundation in very well leaving your skin feeling light and flawless. I love the fact that this brush is self standing which is great for storage. I would defiantly recommend this brush and its inexpensive at £11.99.  I clean it with my make brush cleaner which I blogged about here. Let me know how you got on with the brushes.
