BB Cream - Boots: £5.99
Recently I have been looking for a good light foundation or a good tinted moisturiser which still give me the coverage I need. Which is sometimes medium to full coverage. BB cream stand for Blemish Balm or Beauty Balm and has been big in the UK recently. BB creams are good for the summer when you don't want a heavy cakey foundation on your skin. BB creams don't come in many shades normally Light, Medium and Dark. However because of their texture and watery consistency it is easy to mix shades together to get the perfect shade for your skin. When I saw that the Botanics range in Boots have come out with a new BB cream I thought I would give it a try. This BB cream Radian youth promises to instantly radiant skin and even out skin tone. It does do this it give your skin a flawless finish and covering any redness you may have. However I still use a concealer on my blemishes. Blurs imperfections, smoothes the appearance of wrinkles, lasting hydration with spf 30.
When I had this on my face on top of my Clarins Moisturiser. It didn't dry nor did it get oily throughout the day. Also if you haven't used a moisturiser with spf this is good because this already has spf 30 in it. I got it in shade Medium the light one was too white and ashy for my skin tone. You can swatch the tester one on your hand or on your cheek to see if it matches. It comes in a white tube that is quite slim and easy to fit in your makeup bag to carry around for touch ups. You get 50ml which is a good amount for the price of £6. Normally BB creams are 30/40ml for around £8.99 or more. Unlike the other products on the Botanics range this BB cream doesn't have that harsh floral scent. It hasn't broken me out so far but I will keep you posted if anything changes. I really enjoy using this recently as its better for your skin and doesn't feel like i have heaps of make up on.
Sounds like a good product x
